Yeah, finally turning 10 - I feel like a million bucks!
“Hurry up! Get in the car!” I yelled to my sister. We were going to Sea World, and I was so excited.
Everyone jumped in the car and we were off.
When we finally got there, the first thing we wanted to do was go to the show Shamu. Then we got perfect seats next to each other.
All of a sudden, when the show was just about to begin, a huge gust of wind blew me out of my seat. Strangely enough I started to grow fins and a spout! I also started to grow bigger! Finally, I was replaced with Shamu in the pool as a killer whale!
My heart pounded so loud I could hear it. Was I dreaming? No, I wasn’t. The group of people in the crowd, watching me with faces as though they expected me to do something, sat in the crowd waiting.
Then, in the pool, I saw the splashes forming the words ”IF YOU PLEASE THE CROWD, YOU WILL TRANSFORM BACK INTO A HUMAN.”
Was I seeing things or were those words really there? I guess it wouldn’t hurt to try.
First, I tried spouting water at them, but that just made them wet. Second, I tried swimming in circles, but that just made them bored. Nothing was working. What was I to do to make the crowd happy?
Just then , I saw the dolphin show next door. A light bulb popped into my head. I could copy them!
At first, when I was trying to do a flip, I just flopped down on the water to make a big splash. This happened two more times. A few people were starting to leave. I knew I was running out of time. The show was almost over!
Then, with all my whale strength, I flipped high into the air, did a steady double twist, flipped one more time and landed in the pool again. Then, I did four loops underwater and finished off with a splash.
The whole crowd was the loudest thing in all of Sea World with their clapping and laughing. Everyone loved me!
Just as I was having fun doing more dolphin tricks, I saw that time was up. I pleased the crowd so another huge gust of wind blew me to my seat with a smile that stretched from ear to ear on my proud face. I started to shrink again and my spout and fins disappeared.
I saw my parents back in the rows of the seats as they said, “Where were you this whole time? You missed the whole show.”
Then, I realized I had water in my ears and what other reason would I have water in my ears if I wasn’t in the pool? I knew I didn’t miss the show. I was the show.

Here I am in front of the “Statue of Liberty” at New Yok, New York. Looks like the real one huh?
Yeah, I’m kinda into Harry Potter
Ok, I’m Sooooooooo into Harry Potter
I started to read Harry Potter books when my second grade teacher Mrs. Hacket recomended it. It was kinda boring at first so I put the book down and didn’t read it, After a while I decide to start raeading it again.I started over to refresh my memory. After the beginning part of it I loved it. I’m know onto the 4th book. For me once i start reading I can’t stop until I am told to finally stop. I recomend Harry Potter books for anyone who likes adventure, scarrieness, and loves to read just like me.
Hermione is one of my favorite characters in Harry Potter because…. she is the most intelligent witch for her age. She’s always getting herself, Ron, and Harry out of trouble with spells when they are in danger. Like in the first book, when Ron wouldn’t calm down to get out of Devil’s Snare, she remembered a spell t get him before he got killed. Even though her parents are muggles, Hermione is a really smart witch.
Ok, a bit about each of the characters…
When it comes to Harry Potter, I can just go on and on and on…
Just ask my dad!
I started up again. I’m so excited. I didn’t even have to start all over again either, I got to continue on with my Green Belt.
Ain’t he cute? Just kidding! This guy isn’t too cute when he’s trying to kill Harry. Voldemort is the wizard who killed Harry Potter’s parents and tried to kill him. For some reason Harry wasn’t killed the night his parents died. Voldemort’s powers left a scar on Harry’s forehead. Now whenever people talk about Voldemort they’re too scared to say his name and call him You-know-who.
